Healthy and happy kittens

We focus on breeding healthy and happy cats with a lovely temperament. Litters are planned out of love for the breed, always focusing primarily on health and good character. We also value type and the beautiful wavy coat, as well as the impressive look with big ears and mesmerizing eyes.

Kittens are playful and entertaining. We all know how cute and adorable they are, and why they make great pets. Getting a cat is a big responsibility and that responsibility continues for a lifetime. There are important things to consider before you decide to get your own Cornish rex. Make sure you have enough information of the breed, talk to Cornish rex owners and visit breeders.

Sommelier's Cattery

Sommelier's is a FIFe registered cattery in Suomen Kissaliitto, the Finnish cat association, since May 2020.

In our home live four playful, social, and people-loving cats who are actively involved in everything the family does. We also have wonderful friends as foster families taking care of some of our breeding cats. This enables responsible breeding in a true home-environment. Co-operation with foster families is built on trust and supportive dialogue. Co-operating with foster families is an important corner stone of our ways of working.

The most important thing for us is that each Sommelier’s Cornish rex receive a good home where they can exercise both their body and mind – to ensure health and wellbeing as well as satisfying their natural behaviors.

We love cat shows.

Together with friends and like-minded cat people from we form a community where the health and well-being of cats are at heart.

Cat shows are an excellent opportunity to get to know the Cornish rex breed, share cat knowledge and meet like-minded friends.

Beautiful, healthy, and easy-going representatives of the breed enjoy cat shows and bring happiness and joy to people, both fellow show-goers as well as spectators.
